Legal Stuff

Disclaimer

I’m an educator by training and a foodie, but that doesn’t make me an expert in nutrition, health, fitness, or anything I may blog about outside of my own experience.  I will provide links as necessary for clarification and make every effort to use trusted sources in my posts.  Ultimately you are responsible for any decisions you make regarding your life.

With regard to the recipes I post:  I’m going to assume you will use the best sources you have for your ingredients based on your family’s needs and budget.  Therefore, if you see “chicken” listed, you are welcome to use organic pasture raised fowl or the stuff from the freezer at the box store.  I’m not going to judge.  It’s my opinion that cooking from scratch at home is one of the most important things you can do to improve your health and financial situation.  Work within your family’s limits, have a great time and don’t worry about what your virtual neighbor is eating.

I would be thrilled if you linked to one of my posts, or shared it with your friends via social media.  I’ve supplied the means for you to do so, afterall.

I would be thrilled if you took a recipe I provided and adapted it to suit yourself and made your own blog post about it.  Cooks have been doing that very same thing forever.  However, it would be appreciated if you took the time to give me credit for the work I’ve done and link back to the original post.  Please take the time to tell about how you went about preparing the recipe in your own words, rather than mine.

Photos that do not have attribution were taken by me.  Please do not link to them directly, but rather to the post in which it resides.

Other than blog posts and social media (sharing on Facebook, Pinterest, Google+ and the like), you may not use my work in any other type of publication (digital or otherwise) without permission.  When in doubt contact me at [email protected].
