I’m an educator by training and a foodie, but that doesn’t make me an expert in nutrition, health, fitness, or anything I may blog about outside of my own experience. With regard to the recipes I post: I’m going to assume you will use the best sources you have for your ingredients based on your family’s needs and budget. Therefore, if you see “chicken” listed, you are welcome to use organic pasture raised fowl or the stuff from the freezer at the box store. I’m not going to judge. It’s my opinion that cooking from scratch at home is one of the most important things you can do to improve your health and financial situation. Work within your family’s limits, have a great time and don’t worry about what your virtual neighbor is eating.
